The 2021 Virtual Provincial ABI Conference is a virtual conference that will take place from October 28-29th, 2021. It includes two days of multi-disciplinary educational sessions from numerous distinguished keynote speakers. These session swill include topic such as yoga and meditation for brain injury, remote treatment for brain injury and support, hope & resiliency following brain injury. Among these speakers will be our co-founder and neurologist, Dr. Manu Mehdiratta, MD FRCPC, who will be speaking on Objective Measures in the Evaluation of Mild Traumatic Brain Injury. We invite you to attend this talk on Thursday October 28 at 3:00pm EST.
The discussion will focus on the definition of Concussion/Mild Traumatic Brain Injury (MTBI) in 2021. It will include information on post-concussion syndrome and in particular the physiology and management of Post-concussion syndrome (PCS). It will also review in detail the new diagnostic tools in concussion, such as Quantitative Electroencephalogram (qEEG) and Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT), and their medico-legal implications.

All who attend are eligible to receive a certificate of attendance for CEU credits will be available to download during the conference.
