Iscope is currently accepting new patients. A referral from your primary care physician or specialist is required for consultations covered by your provincial plan. If you require rehabilitation services a referral is not required.

Concussion or traumatic brain injurity (TBI) is caused by a bump, blow, jolt or hit to the head that affects brain function. This can be caused by an impact to the head during a fall or motor vehicle accident, or during contact spor injuries. Our medical team takes a collaborative approach in the diagnosis and treatment of your injury, by employing both sub-specialized physicians and rehabilitation professionals, we can treat the physical, cognitive, emotional and sleep-related symptoms that you may experience.
A migraine is a common neurological disease that
causes a variety of symptoms, most notably a throbbing or pulsing headache on one area of your head. The quality may vary from day to day and the onset may be sudden or gradual, ranging in length from less than an hour to several days. Migraine can often lead to nausea, vomiting, light sensitivity, sound sensitivity, visual disturbances, tingling, or speech difficulty. We take an evidence-based interdisciplinary approach to managing migraines, starting with a consultation from our Neurologist.
Movement disorders describe a group of neurological conditions that cause increased abnormal movements, which may be voluntary or involuntary. Some common types include Dystonia, Essential Tremor, and Parkinson’s disease. Parkinson’s disease is a progressive neurological movement disorder that causes uncontrollable movements such as shaking, stiffness and difficulty with balance and
coordination. Our team is able to help manage the symptoms associated with Parkinson’s disease through various forms of physical rehabilitation, medications, and more.
Chronic Pain is long standing pain that persists beyond the usual recovery period. This can be weeks to months or even years. Persistent pain can prevent you from partaking in your daily activities, working and even enjoying everyday life.

Epilepsy is a neurological disorder in which brain activity becomes abnormal, causing
seizures or periods of unusual behaviour, sensations and sometimes loss of awareness. A traumatic brain injury may give rise to seizures and epilepsy, with the likelihood of developing seizures related to the severity of the injury. Successful management of patients with seizures or epilepsy begins with the establishment of accurate diagnosis followed by an tailored treatment plan.
Dizziness is an overall feeling of being unbalanced. Vertigo is a sensation that your head or space is moving or spinning. This feeling may be barely noticeable or it may be so severe that you find it difficult to keep your balance. Many balance issues can result from a dysfunction of the vestibular system, joint, muscular, or nervous systems. Our team of medical and rehabilitation practitioners, specifically our trained vestibular therapists, will collaborate on a treatment plan to help relieve your symptoms.
Dementia frequently presents as a salient sign of memory loss, hence memory problems and dementia are closely associated.
Memory problems are issues with recalling or remembering information. Milder forgetfulness to more serious memory impairments are all possible.
The term “dementia” refers to a range of symptoms brought on by a deterioration in cognitive abilities rather than a specific disease. Memory, thinking, conduct, and the capacity to carry out daily tasks all gradually deteriorate under this condition.

our team of Neuro-Ophthalmologists,
Neuro-Optometrists and Vision Therapist are
able to help assess and diagnose the origin
of these visual disturbances, in addition to
developing a patient-specific treatment plan.
